Putting the Brakes on Bad Screening Practices

There has been a lot of talk and media coverage about the transportation services company Uber, and the many many reported incidents of misconduct from Uber’s drivers. Most recently is this report from PandoDaily about a passenger suing the company for being sexually assaulted by her driver.

Unfortunately, there have been several such lawsuits against Uber, including incidents such as a passenger claiming she was choked by a driver, another claiming rape, a third claiming his driver spit on him, and a fourth who said his driver hit him. Uber is quickly gaining a reputation for negligence and willful misconduct.
